Nice style design flaw..
I did not purchase the sink from bath1, but from a local plumbing company. i like the style of the sink but it has a serious design flaw. the wall. i wasn't alarmed at the time thinking i may have just splashed water over the edge of the sink while cleaning. so i wiped the wall and thought no more about it. saw a trail of water on the wall under the bolt. this time I knew it wasn't cleaning. I checked for leaks in the pipes and found nothing. so the next step was to remove the sink from the wall to see what was going on. when i put the sink on its back on the floor, water came out the back build hole. upon closer examination, the following was found: if water passes through the overflow hole, it is assumed to flow through the center pipe to the drain. unfortunately the central pipe of our tap has a hole that is too high so that the water does not enter the drain and remains in the open cavity. from the sink then called through the unsealed china in the back of the sink. this subsequently caused mold and damage to the wall. most central drains on faucets that we liked have the overflow hole in the same place. so right now our attempt is to cut a drain hole from the bottom overflow into the middle pipe to try and remedy the situation in case the sink overflow is reused. we will also consider sealing the china in the back of the sink. â€

Great Sink and Metal pedistal. Caution on bolt installation!..
I have had this sink for over 13 years. during a recent renovation we decided to upgrade to a bathroom (finally got rid of the munchkin height sink) for my wife's size. dat and the kids/master bathroom needed space under the sink. the spax required a hex bit.....had to use a drill with no torque control and one of the bolt holes ripped/broken. so be careful when using a drill to assemble bolts. I am going to buy a new sink for my old stainless steel base because it still looks great!

Beautiful Console Sink Top..
this is a beautiful console top that i bought with the set of chrome console feet. they look great together although I'm not sure why the console sink is so much more expensive than the pedestal sink when they both look the same from the top. it would have been 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

Great Vintage look!..
I bought an older house with smaller bathrooms. I wanted the tub to be bigger so I didn't want to install a vanity. this sink and plinth look great and don't take up much space.
