They work great but what a hassle...
ordered two. both were well packed and on time. installed first. found that the bowl was leaking. called American standard. very indifferent. the second installed. it is good and works very well. bath1 was great with the return and sending a replacement that works well. bath1 had the defective part picked up the next day. american standard quality control is lacking, as is their customer service!

Great Price..
cheaper than home depot

Easy to install..
Most: delivered on time, perfectly packaged. easy to install. works perfectly and looks good. the included slow close lid is excellent. Cons: Not really a con. if you put it upstairs (like I did), you may need some help moving it. After all, they are one-piece toilets, and therefore heavy.

Great -- if you discount the defect..
I tend to ignore reviewers who complain about a faulty product; I know every manufacturer slips into a clunker every now and then. I also know that I will return defective items - so I focus on what reviews say about non-defective items. I deduct one star for the defect as an installed toilet is very different from most items if you are considering returning it. in this case I think the defect should have been discovered by the manufacturer. here's what it was: the toilets seemed to be in good shape when we arrived. I had it installed by a professional plumber. it slowly drained from the reservoir into the bowl, partially filling the reservoir every 4 minutes. I had the plumber come back, but he couldn't fix it (or thought he had). i asked for fed-ex (as it is the only toilet in our house) but they used usps so it took 10 days. when i removed the old valve i discovered the real problem. there was a porcelain burr on the tank itself about 1/8" high and about 1/4" long. the valve didn't close that big piece. so I filed/sanded it, installed the new valve (although the original one was probably fine) and it hasn't leaked since. the tank seems to be made in mexico while the valve is made in china. i'm guessing someone in america must have put the two together and realized it wouldn't work with that defect on the tank where the valve is supposed to seal. so quality control is a bit suspect here. nevertheless, now that the defect has been removed, I really like this toilet. it uses an incredibly small amount of water (one gulp instead of one big gulp) and the surface stays clean. I also like that it consists of one piece: less can go wrong. i recommend it and if yours has the same symptoms you now know where to look (unscrew the tank flush valve and look for any imperfections on the tank itself).
