Easy to clean!..
I ordered the correct 5ft white drain from a local supplier for my bathroom remodel. I bought this tub because it had a deeper water depth (14" to overflow) than our previous tub and it didn't have an ugly design on the side. I also didn't need an indoor hot tub as we have an outdoor hot tub and to the best of my knowledge is it still not considered wise to use bath oil in a bubble bath after reading the reviews other standard american products i knew their whites were *not* pure white which is fine as i really didn't want pure white.it was hard to see it in my local hardware store though because fluorescent tubes and bad displays i knew i wanted a toto sink and toilet so i had to make sure everything matched i tried to get the standard american ones but it was an exercise in futility i think their phones were out so i called toto hey turns out they have chips of their color and they knew exactly how theirs matched the american standard toto's colonia l white is identical to american standard white. (side note: toto's customer service was so helpful and friendly that i wanted to buy their products. unfortunately they didn't have a tub that would work for me. and i admit i am incredibly picky about customer service.) have to sell the products american standard because i like it bought only to see an image online reading the water depth pdf and looking at the toto color chips. the american standard description only praises their company and the materials they use. they do not list the actual features of this bath. so let me help you. this tub has only been installed a few weeks but I am in love. serious. I tested it well, I shaved my legs. i had waited a while as i recently had abdominal surgery and found it very difficult to shave in a 30" x 30" shower. the hair does not stick to the walls of the bathtub. the hair only stuck a little to the non slip underside but that just needed a gentle rinse. this tub is very easy to clean! in addition, the top "armrests" tilt a degree or two toward the tub. I hadn't noticed right away. i had found it comfortable to lean over the tub while bathing my almost 2 year old daughter. but recently I had to put something on the side during a shower to throw it away later and thought I had water on the side and on the floor. after seeing the whole area was dry. that night I gave my daughter a bath and she decided she should pour some water on the armrest. I saw the water go right back into the tub. the water pressure needs to be a little stronger to push it overboard. this means you don't have to be overly protective of your floors with protective pads, just don't intentionally direct water onto the floor. I don't know if all drains are like this, but the drain I have to use with this tub was weird. we thought the tub spout would open and close the drain. turns out the overflow knob turns to operate the drain. nice feature!

Nice Tub..
I can't believe the day has come when we order bathtubs online. I have ordered three of these drains so far and they offer a good mix of quality and price, although I am annoyed by the daily price fluctuations and the price difference between the left and right drains.

Solid Basic Tub ... Still Wonderful After 5 Years..
I bought this tub after looking at tons of expensive and impractical bathtubs. all those other tubs looked really good, but in the end I was concerned about one thing: water was splashing out of the tub. with this much simpler classic bath, I could be sure that my bath rim would catch all the water. it was easy to install myself and now that I've used it for several months, this tub is amazing. (I must say I bought the tub for a complete bathroom remodel.) the tub is deep and mostly holds water in the tub! it's just too great. my only complaint about this tub is the etched bottom. it has a sort of "safety texture" on the underside that tends to get a little dirty. does it add traction? don't know. cleaning the bottom every month or so does the trick, so it really doesn't matter. note that the tubs are all right and left, indicating where the drain is. this tub on the left has the drain on the left if you're on the long side of the tub facing the room. Update: After several years of use by our family, there hasn't been a day that the tub wasn't great. no dents or tears or anything like that. when we clean it, it's like new. note that in my video I'm posting with this update, I'm mentioning the pull sections at the bottom of the tub. those pull sections are subtle and pretty, but they pick up a bit of grime during use. they are easy to clean with bonami.

Cambridge Tub..
we were looking for a sturdy tub to replace our existing cast iron tub. this bath more than lived up to our expectations. it was significantly easier to transport than our cast iron and installation was simple. our only difficulty was finding the right drain assembly for the depth of the tub. many commercially available kits were not long enough. we ended up adding an extension to a "pop-up" kit. Delivery was fast after a pre-arranged time.
