Very comfortable for plastic but my lid cover doesn't stay on..
I realize that matching lid covers and matching rugs are outdated these days, but I still use them in my master bath. this hard case prevents my battery cover from wrapping around the back of the toilet seat. I use landscape and it always slides when the lid is lifted. but it is very comfortable and matches our american standard bone toilets.

most important to understand that it isa little flexible between the seat and toilet..
i love the slow close lid system so far but i wouldn't recommend it more heavily than most people because someone in my house thinks bending a plastic chair can pinch the skin so i like it but i have to replaced by a wooden one. in terms of looks and ease of installation I would consider it

great seat for the american standard cadet 3. not sure if this would work well or fit all elongated toilets. recommend it.

STURDY SLOW CLOSE TOILET SEAT..
this is a great chair i bought for a new toilet. the factory-supplied seat was so thin it would sag if it sat on the lid. nothing like that will happen with this chair. the chair is made of sturdy and durable plastic that will last for years. the slow close function works perfectly. no slamming lids to wake up the house. installation was easy with an adjustable mount to fit the toilet.
