Great product but it is critical to install them correctly...
as another customer pointed out, it is important that these are installed according to the instructions. they can be installed on floor joists - rather than the subfloor - but the pan must be blocked from below according to the instructions. the entire shower - including the pan/subfloor connection (and 12" beyond) should be taped and enclosed in a membrane - red arc "tank 10" or similar. like most components, installation correctly is key. you would don't want to bolt a new transmission in your car without hooking it up some other way, then blame the transmission when it didn't shift - it's the same.

I am a high end tiler. i am looking for other places to buy them and found them on bath1 which is great. I've been installing them for years with no problems. i saw the other review and had to say. the tiler made a mistake. these pans can't fail if you do it right. can not! I've never had a failure. I'm real. from medford oregon. woolen bridge construction. these are great.
