How to see your home with fresh eyes when you’re tired of looking at it.

Over the course of the last several weeks our day-to-day lives have changed tremendously and it’s with a bittersweet understanding that we can finally start checking off our long-awaited to-do lists.

It’s been somewhere around three weeks since we’ve been instructed to stay home. It’s important and so necessary that we work together to keep this pandemic from growing and spreading, and yet, spending this much time at home can start to feel a little uncomfortable, and honestly- a little dull.

We’ve been preparing a lot more meals at home recently, so that means a lot more time spent in the kitchen, and more opportunity to really notice the little things that I’ve been putting off updating/replacing. When my husband and I bought our home, the kitchen was the room that really captivated us.
