    I replaced a Kohler faucet with this Delta 978-DST. I'm very satisfied. I bought the faucet through a plumbing service company, which also did the installation. I could have installed it myself, but the plumber did it in maybe one-third the time and

    I replaced a Kohler faucet with this Delta 978-DST. I'm very satisfied. I bought the faucet through a plumbing service company, which also did the installation. I could have installed it myself, but the plumber did it in maybe one-third the time and pointed out things that I might have missed - e.g, greasing all threaded parts, how to remove and clean the aerator (which takes a special wrench that is supplied), how to replace the valve cartridge, and basically how the whole faucet goes together. Plus, I hate lying on my back under a sink.There was an earlier comment that rinsing dishes with the sprayer would cause you to get sprayed, too. Just reduce the flow setting on the control lever, and you will stay dry.The pull-down sprayer is the cat's meow. The sprayer that came with our Kohler (6 years ago) was almost unusable - it wouldn't retract and the hose below the sink would tangle up.
