Be sure to get the DCO...
this is a new design in kitchen faucets. it should look like a professional faucet, but not too overpowering. note that grohe just released a shorter 5" version. these are available in two finishes chrome and "supersteal" which resembles stainless steel or brushed nickel. "supersteal" is a color name and says nothing about what the faucet is made of make sure you get the "dco" version and not the "dce" the "dce" has limited the wafer current which I think is a stupid idea.want to save water.of all the faucets in this design we like the grohe design nicest.hans grohe (a company other than grohe) and elkay also have a nice one.after that they start to look cheap.like most kitchen faucets (even quite high end)the head is plastic.however the stainless steel finish gives feel like hearing is from real metal only time will tell how durable the finish is and how long it will last ps it takes you to wear it out and start showing the plastic what i don't like is that the spring and be the snake of chrome.i hoped something that looked like stainless steel or brushed nickel. in the photos of the faucet they look like the spring and hose are not chrome plated but they are. because they are chrome plated and mirrored, they take on the appearance of stainless steel when viewed from the right angle. but it is the lightest and most corners look chrome. the button on the head changes the flow from a steady stream to a shower. the shower pattern is quite tight and doesn't spread out like our old faucets did. you can switch from stream to shower with running water (some other brands don't switch back to running water until you turn off the water). once the water has turned, it always returns to the flow. i like the elkay faucet because the switch on the head was a three way shower or off. the only thing nicer than this is waterstone. they are quite wild and cost twice as much. however, the head of this is made of solid metal.
