Nice but heavy!..
too heavy for our motorhome no way to climb into the motorhome structure. looks nice but has turned over due to the weight. found a watt thermal mixer to control the shower temperature using rv valves a better solution.

Works and makes noise..
works as it should. i had a similar device from another manufacturer installed and it worked for 6 years. installation of the grohe unit was therefore no problem. I am satisfied with it. I also like the information that comes with the device. internal parts of the device so that you can repair the device in the future if necessary. I hope grohe sells the internals, I haven't checked that. maybe grohe can let us know? sometimes the device makes noise, maybe some air in the device will see if it goes away in time. if you want this type of faucet I can recommend this one.

They turn very easily. I love that it regulates the temperature better .....
i was a little concerned that the handles would be hard to turn with soapy gouty hands - i shouldn't have worried. they turn very easily. I love that it regulates temperature better than any other anti-scald faucet we've ever owned. the preset 100-degree shutdown is great, and it's easy to manipulate the temperature override if you want it warmer. external (or exposed) shower mixers from renowned companies that comply with American standards. plumbing standards are not easy to come by (which you already know when you look at this review); this one is a winner!

Quality unit / RV install..
very well made and works exactly as advertised. we installed it in our motorhome shower to replace the cheap plastic unit and help stop controlling hot and cold showers... also saves water. i recommend it for your home but a huge upgrade for your motorhome

Tricky RV install showing photos...
I had posted questions about the installation, so I decided to show you how it works. it is on a stainless steel panel in a motor home. the photos show a bracket behind the wall. I used a 3/4" nut from lowes to help tighten. drill 1" holes in the stainless steel and tighten securely from the back with the 3/4" nut. the last photo is seen straight from above. a bit confusing but good info the large tap nut is directly against the stainless steel.

Very nice valve indeed - you do need to be quite handy to replace an old USA valve..
replace an old single-lever MO valve in a shower cubicle. need to do some carpentry work to make it work. however the plumbing part was easy due to the pex and sharkbite fittings. the valve works fine. see the pictures. no stars were removed due to extra work because i knew what was needed. update: very happy with this valve. much easier to regulate the temperature than the single handle valves I've seen that are much more common in the usa. well worth installing. easy to reset the temperature to where the "stop" is; simply remove the knob - first remove the chrome insert and remove the screw - and turn the valve stem until the temperature is right for you. then replace the knob without moving the valve stem. you can always press the button and turn the knob to make it warmer. remove the red insert in the knob if you want it to be even hotter when you push the knob past the stop. similarly, the flow control stop point can be adjusted by removing the flow button (the right button) and putting it back in a different position. it will disable "off center", but that doesn't bother any of us here. pushing the knob and turning the knob still maximizes power no matter where you replace the knob.
