the rubber around the spray control was worn out in our original faucet after about 5+ years. looking for a replacement by part number, however, couldn't find anything. this replacement spray head seemed to be the same as i needed and reading the reviews some said it would fit a europlus ii faucet. i thought it was pretty close so i took a chance and ordered it and it is identical to the original. the only minor issue i had was that the connecting line leaked a bit but i fixed that with a new o-ring. some have complained that this unit is not chrome but plastic and i found my original aerosol can was plastic and it looks just as good.

when my kitchen was renovated 15 years ago, this was the faucet of choice. it went on all these years and eventually the spray function died. but this sprayer looked great until it died - and I'm so glad it's still available so I didn't have to replace the whole faucet. I will stick with grohe for all future faucets - they are well built and very attractive. I think if they use them on cruise ships (which they do), that's pretty good evidence for me.

we replaced the hose on our grohe kitchen faucet and decided to replace the ten year old spray head as well. † unfortunately it is smaller than the original nozzle and will have to be returned.

the black plastic pipe you see in the photo is a bit bigger in diameter than my original. so it leaked! i called grohe and they sent me an o-ring for free. if enough of us call they might start with the hand shower o-ring. Grohe's US number is 800-444-7643. request technical support. the o-ring is part # 01224000. it also includes 2 small parts, one is white plastic and the other is yellow. white matches my faucet. i love my 20 year old grohe faucet!

it is the exact replacement for ladylux and other grohe faucets. Installed months ago and not a single complaint. these tend to last for years with the occasional cleaning. our last unit has been in operation for over ten years.

thanks to all previous reviewers and their detailed recommendations, installation was easy and took less than 10 minutes.1. install the same current limiter as your old one.2. use the new o-ring.3. use plumber's tape as a precaution.4. screw on the new nozzle. yes it is expensive for a simple spray head but much cheaper than a brand new kitchen faucet and plumber to install it. my 66 year old back can no longer twist enough to get under a sink.
