Worked great except for terrible instructions..
it worked great as a replacement once I found the right way to install it. "instructions" are superfluous. the water must flow. look for arrows in good light. insert one into the faucet handle with the arrow pointing out. place the apparent extra o-ring from the parts package onto the end of the hose. I left the pre-existing o-ring in place which was slightly recessed into the tip of the pipe. it seems that the extra o-ring is needed with these replacements. screw together. works very well.

Great replacement..
this is a great replacement for the original grohe drawer that had leaked to the side. (yes it was plastic too) the new one is a bit different in shape and design but actually better both visually and functionally than the old one. for under a hundred bucks it shouldn't be plastic, but the plating is well done and the finish is indistinguishable from the steel parts of the faucet. it took (literally) less than a minute to change that. the page associated with the part has no value - if you need help, go to the grohe website. you have to use the flow limiter: it has the seal that prevents the tie rod from leaking. white is the highest percentage. and you need to replace the o-ring on the end of the hose with the one from the kit. otherwise it will leak - and you won't see the leak - it will run down the pipe through the faucet body and under your sink.

Simple Replacement Procedure and the O-Ring is Included..
this hand sprayer is a direct replacement for the grohe # 46359 hand sprayer on my europlus kitchen faucet # 33871-1k0. although a bit pricey for a plastic hand sprayer, I thought the cost was much less than replacing the entire faucet or calling a plumber. so i took my chance and ordered it. basically unscrewed the old hand sprayer and screwed on the new one. the box with the new hand sprayer contained an illustrated diagram, a white regulator (#08567), a yellow/green regulator (#64689), and a new o-ring. the regulator on the old hand sprayer was white so used the new white regulator in the new hand sprayer i carefully removed the old o-ring from the existing hose and replaced it with the new i used o-ring grease on the regulator and the new o- ring. the hose fits very well on the new hand sprayer and seems to seal well once the new hand sprayer is secured in place. the sprayer works fine with lots of water pressure and has never leaked. very easy replacement.

The part itself works but minus 1 star for non-existing instructions..
in short, this spray head can be placed and works and does not leak. but we had to use reviews from other customers as the installation guide rather than the actual instructions that came with the item. bag with a black o-ring and 2 plastic inserts (one transparent and one yellow/green). head. you do not need to place the two inserts in the spray head. we used the bright b/c of its larger aperture (=stronger flux). push it in gently, the valve's black o-ring will compress and the valve will slide in on the carriage wheel-like side facing the opening (that's how it was installed in the original head). there is a cap in the spray head so you don't push it too far. you don't have to do anything with the nozzle. the black o-ring included in the package does not go into the spray head. 2) try to fit the spray head (screw it back on the pipe). there will most likely be a leak under the gasket question: how do i fix the leak answer: the replacement head for some reason has a bigger opening than the original one. the hose still fits pretty well in the black plastic opening of the spray head, but the fit just isn't good enough. note that the hose already has a black o-ring. remove the original o-ring and replace it with the supplied o-ring. the latter is a bit thicker. and that's just enough to make sure the hose fits snugly into the nozzle opening. when we reassembled the spray head it stopped leaking. I hope this helps.
