Description:
The Chemtrol female adapter union is an injection molded PVC Schedule 80 thermoplastic fitting for use with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage and waste water treatment systems. The dark grey PVC adapter union features a female socket and a female pipe thread connections. This fitting has an FKM fluorocarbon which is suited to most applications involving mineral acids, salt solutions, chlorinated hydrocarbons and petroleum oils. PVC Schedule 80 has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping.
