Check your purchase carefully!..
after installing this item and completing the tiling, we found the valve was not working properly. it looks like the lower cartridge o-ring was missing. our plumber went to our (at our expense) and gor a replacement. it didn't fix the problem so we had to buy a replacement cartridge. what a hassle.. we didn't have to remove the tiles but it slowed down the work. the seller picked us up quickly and gave us a replacement cartridge. it works well now and we love our shower!

As described..
works very well

Work well. Replaced three still working 33 years old PFister Avanti valves. New trims also...
3 valves replaced and fitted with new gaskets. works well after installation by a licensed plumber. they also look good and are more user-friendly than the old avanti. I hope they balance the pressure well too.

The valve I used for Kenzo tub/shower fittings..
a review of a pfister bath/shower valve belongs to the kenzo bath set. that's what it works for. one tip i could give is to set the hot water to the max and then adjust it to your liking. wanting a steaming hot shower won't happen if you "steer" on the valve. yes the water can come out hot but at my house i have to wait for the hot water to reach the shower head.

has anti scald device that really restricts heat level of water..
this valve has a scalding protection that really limits the heat level. you need to increase the boiler temperature to get enough heated water.
